UNITED NIMBA CITIZENS COUNCIL (UNICCO)

Welcome to the web site of the Nimba Community. The United Nimba Citizens Council is a United States based ethnic association of mostly citizens of Nimba county (The Dan, Mah, Mandingo and other ethnic groups) residing in the Uniteds States of America and Canada.

To
create an environment for fostering better understanding among Nimbains in the United States of America, as well as seek to improve the Economic, Educational, political and Social opportunities for Nimbains residing both in the United States of America and Liberia;

To
create a forum in which to hold intelligent discussion and examine issues relating to the Welfare of Nimbains both in the United States and Liberia;

To
encourage and stimulate scholarly achievement among Nimbains and strive for spiritual enlightenment and moral integrity within the Nimba community;

To
create a forum for association among Nimbains and to provide help for Nimbain needing help;

To
encourage and provide for the exchange of ideas and philosophies among Nimbains and between Nimbains and people of other counties or countries.
